ticket upgrade question

We are geting the 10 day with everythng, but I'm considering upgrading to an AP. We are planning another trip w/in the year. We did the DDP w/ our tickets. I thought that I read that the DDP is attached to your tickets. If I upgrade my tickets when I get there, will that mess up my DDP?

Not at all, but to be 100% safe (I am wrong once or twice a year; I think I've already hit my quota, but you never know ) wait to upgrade until you check into your resort.

I was wondering about this too.
I have 10 day hoppers booked with my package for August, but want to upgrade to an AP when I get there. I am the only one out of our group who wants to upgrade. I thought I heard something about only being able to do this at a park and that you could not do it at the resort. Does that sound right? And, if so, would I need to have my ticket separate from my room card?

You would have to do the transaction at a Guest Relations location (parks or DTD). This is a very common transaction that is done all the time. The resorts cannot do any transactions involving APs.

Your ticket does not need to be separate to do the upgrade.
