ticket to resort key - split stay

I am planning to buy park tickets at online store. I am planning to stay 2 differenrt resorts, 2 nights at ASmu first then 5 nights at POR, WL or CBR.
I understand I can add my ticket to resort keys but if I buy 6days ticket,
How does it work?

Can ASmu add only 1 or 2 days to my room keys and next resort can add rest of days to new key? or can I ask ASmu to add all 6days ticket at first then bring ASmu key to next resort to activate it as the room key of 2nd resort?

When we did a split stay last year, we did 2 nights each at the GF and AKL. I booked a package with 5 night park hoppers at GF, and a room only at AKL. We used our KTTW from GF as tickets throughout our entire stay, including the AKL portion. The keys from AKL worked only as room keys and charge cards. After we checked out of the GF, THOSE KTTW worked ONLY at tickets, no charging privileges.

So, for the second half of our stay, we had two KTTW cards, one for charging and room access, one for park tickets.

So it sound like they cannot trensfer resort keys or transfer ticket data to another keys. Thanks!!

I honestly don't know for sure if they can or not! We were happy enough with the way that it was done so we didn't ask!
