Hi. Planning question--We have 3 day park-hopper, date-specific tickets usable 6/5-6/9, which we are planning to use 6/7, 6/8, & 6/9. We also have tickets to Villains After Hours for 6/5.

When I go to make Fastpass reservations starting at 60 days (April 6th), I believe I should be able to make FPs for everything --including at MK for between 7-10pm on 6/5 due to the VAH ticket, and then for 3 more days due to the other ticket (all are already linked). Has anyone had trouble being able to make 4 days of FPs in this type of situation with a ticket & VAH/AH ticket?

Since we are there for a short trip pretty much just to spend time at the new things at Hollywood Studios, we want to give ourselves the best chance at getting FPs (i.e. 60+2, 60+3). Thanks!

ETA--we have a resort stay 6/5-6/10, if that makes a difference :flower:

So with after hours events (including VAH, DAH, MNSSHP and MVMCP) there are no fastpasses during the party hours. They limit the number of tickets sold to these events, and FP are not necessary.

That said, the event ticket DOES generally allow you to enter the park before the event "officially" starts. For MNSSHP we can enter MK at 4pm even though the party doesn't start until 7pm. I don't know when they will start admitting party tickets for VAH, hopefully someone can confirm that for your, BUT you WILL be able to make fastpasses for the time period between when you are allowed to enter the park and when the event starts. For MNSSHP I can usually sneak in 2-3 fastpasses between 4 and 7.

Rule of thumb for making FP+ for special event tickets has typically been to make your FP+ on your regular ticket first (6/7, 6/8 and 6/9) and then go back to make the FP+ for 6/5. Since MK closes at 10 pm that night, you can attempt to make FP+ for around 7 pm, 8 pm, 9 pm. You could also start FP+ as early as 6:30 pm, if you'd like, as you have an hour to use the FP+. It would shorten the time you will need to wait to start your 2nd FP+ if that makes sense.

Thank you! Yes, this strategy makes a ton of sense. I was concerned the system might get confused with the different tickets, but if I book 6/7, 6/8 & 6/9 first--and then go back and do 6/5 last that makes the most sense. Also the FPs at MK on 6/5 are our lowest priority anyway. I appreciate you helping me think through it & easing my anxiety!

Thanks. It says on our VAH ticket confirmation that we can enter the park at 7pm, and the event doesn't start until 10pm-1am, but I was worried about the system getting confused with the other days/tickets. I'll just make the other day's FPs first as suggested above :)

Oh, I didn’t think about that. We have VAH for 4/17 and doing our regular ticket days 4/19-4/23. We are doing a resort and Disney springs day on 4/18 since it is a Saturday and we will be up late the night before. I didn’t realize we would have to make all our FP on the other days first. Good to know since our 60 day FP day is in 3 days!

It might also depend on the dates that your regular tickets are active. You might want to double check that? We made ours active the first day of our stay so we could book FPs ASAP. If you bought them through Disney, your can always shift the date range your tickets are active online, usually free of charge. Good luck making FPs!

We're also doing a resort/Disney Spring day after VAH. We figured a late event to 1am, followed by being at a park 7:30am would make us way too cranky! :rolleyes1

Ours are active anytime between now and December 18th, they are the military promotion tickets.
