The Orlando Ticket Club http://www.theorlandoticketclub.com/

is it a safe ticket broker?

in the effort to save a few bucks, I have been searching for a few spots to shave a few bucks off the cost of our trip. I just dont need to lose a $1000 in a bad deal. So has anyone dealt or heard of them?

This appears to be legit but, I only glanced at their site.

However one ticket reseller you will see mentioned and highly recommended here on teh DIS is Undercover Tourist. Tax is included in their prices AND shipping is always free. Often times the other brokers look like good deals until you check out and see how much tax & shipping adds to the price.

Also, if you subscribe to the Mousesavers.com newsletter you will get a link in tthe newsletter that gives you an additional discount on Undercover Tourist tickets. To date, I haven't found a deal that can beat it.

well at my quick glance the OTC site beats the UT site by $29. This is without me searching for the discount code for UT(didnt see a spot to enter the code anyways).

I do get the newsletter but havent looked at it since our last trip 2 years ago. never dawned on me to check it.

:confused3 They don't seem cheaper to me???

their 4(5) day hopper adult is $306 the UT 5(6) day hopper adult is $304 (using mousesavers discount - $311 for the normal price) if you are not in a hurry sign up for the mousesavers newsletter. The UT tickets do work fine, just used one two days ago. Plus UT also has two android apps that are kinda cool. :)

the OTC has a total of $950
the UT site shows $977.86

both free shipping, no tax

This is 7 day, w/park hopper.

quick correction. the site is OrlandoTicketClub.com

No THE in the beginning, sorry.

you also need the pass I was given to enter.

For our trip last Thanksgiving it was cheaper to go with UT vs OTC (we used the Mousesavers Discount). I heard only positive feedback regarding UT and couldn't find anyone who had used OTC. We were very pleased with our dealings with UT - prices (taxes and shipping included), fast shipping - will definitely use them again.

Theorlandoticketclub and orlandoticketclub are the same place - they have the same logo and everything.

As to what you have behind that secret password protected site, I couldn't say. Are those prices cheaper than what anyone can see at theorlandoticketclub.com?

You should ask your question on the Theme Parks board and maybe Cheshire Figment will see it and check to see if they are on the authorized reseller list.

It looks like OTC does charge for shipping ..
We offer 4 shipping methods for our U.S. customers
(includes Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico):

First Class Mail (5-6 days) - $2.95

Priority Mail (3-5 days) - $5.95

Express Mail (1-2 days)- $18.95

Hotel Delivery* (48 hours/Monday-Friday)- $14.95

Although reasonable I would go with UT. I have used them twice with no issues at all and that was after being able to find lots of great recommendations for them! It is an awful lot of money to spend and not feel confident about them.

I am a big UT purchaser. I used them over 5 times now. Great customer service. If it is too close to your vacation, they will deliver your tickets to your resort. I bought my dh The Richard Petty Driving Experience Ticket and saved a ton of money when they had a special.

This is Cheshire's comment when I started the same post in October.

"I checked a list on the Cast Portal of "Authorized Off-Site Disney Ticket Sales Locations". This is a list of all companies in the Orlando area which are authorized to sell tickets or vouchers for tickets and lists about 90 names. I cannot publish the list as it clearly states it is not for public release.

That name does not show up on the list."

Subtotal:

$950.00

Shipping:

$2.95

Tax:

$0.00

Total:

$952.95

again, orlandoticketclub.com not theorlandoticketclub.com

I had to use a password to enter.

Tarheel, thanks for that tidbit! That in itself was enough to not pull the trigger!

Oh, you are so welcome. I had the same anxious feeling about taking the risk and when I couldn't find anyone that had delt with them (and with Cheshire's comment) I decided it wasn't worth any savings - although once I got the Mousesavers discount it ended up being cheaper with UT - we got the 7 day non-hoppers though. Have fun on your trip!

Well, I should be happy, We all ready got 40% off our CBR stay (Thanks to a family friend who is a CM), but every little bit helps.

I just signed up for the mousesavers newsletter to get the coupon code for Undercover Tourist, but the newsletter doesn't arrive until the 15th and we are leaving for Orlando on June 20. Would anyone be kind enough to share the discount code with me? We are purchasing 6 Adult tickets and 1 child ticket (non-hoppers) for 4 days receive 5 days at $254 and $235, respectfully from UT. Does anyone know what the savings is with the mousesavers coupon code? I only have a couple of weeks left, and have done all the savings research I can do up to this point; I need to purchase the tickets this weekend to make sure we have them before our June 20 departure. Thank you!

Mary of Mousesavers requests that no one share the link for the UT discount. However, she does allow the entire newsletter be forwarded. I do not have mine any longer because we are not planning a trip and I just delete them - I think one just came yesterday due to the ticket increase.

There is always a thread here on the budget board in the first few pages with "Mousesavers newsletter" in the title - post in there requesting someone forward you the whole newsletter.

I would suggest buying the tickets now from UCT. Until their stock runs out they will be selling tickets at the current price. Their new stock will all include the prices that go into effect tomorrow.
