Ticket Questions

Hey All,

We usually buy our tickets from undercover tourist and have 2 quick questions for everyone:

1) Does anyone know the last time Disney increased their ticket prices and when they are likely to do so again? I know this usually happens regularly (annually?), but since our trip is 6 months away, I'm trying to see if I should purchase them now to lock in the current prices or if I have a few months to wait.

2) If I purchase, let's say, a 6 day basic ticket, can I still add on additional days AT Disney at the discounted multi-day rate? I know you could in the past, just want to make sure Disney hasn't changed that for tickets purchased from a 3rd party.

2-yes you can still do that. Not sure about last increase, haven't been paying attention.

The last ticket price increase took place on Feb. 22, 2015. The year prior, the increase took place on 2/23/14. However, price increases can occur at any time at Disney's whim.

Right now, it's possible to add on days to MYW tickets, up to a maximum of 10 total days on the ticket as long as it is done within 14 days of the first day of use. Tickets purchased from a 3rd party should be used at least once before doing the upgrade so that its value gets bridged to the current gate price instead of what the seller (not you, the buyer) paid for the ticket.
