I hope I can explain this so everyone will understand!! Here goes...

We are going to Disney in November and will be staying off-site Friday-Thursday (condo we own) and our plan is to move to a Value resort on Thursday and stay until Saturday. (We couldn't get a room for 1 extra night at the condo) We might, but probably won't go to the parks on Thursday, it's an "off" day for us and I expect all we will do is eat dinner at Chef Mickey's and maybe ride the monorail some, maybe do DTD that night. We will do the parks all day Friday, they will be open late, (it is the Friday after Thanksgiving). Saturday we will be leaving early to catch our flight home.

My question is that we will have the tickets (probably 6 or 7 day tickets), we purchace in advance b/c we will be in the park all week before this but what do they do when we check into our resort and they would normally put your tickets on your room key?

Also, if you are just staying at a resort for just 2 days at the end of your vacation can you do the new 100 day window for ADR's?

I hope these make sense and don't sound dumb. I was reading some other info and thought about this. Can anyone help? Thanks! :sunny:

You'll be doing a room only reservation because you already have your tickets, right?

The tickets won't be on your room key then. You'll just have to carry both. No need to put the tickets on your room key.

Not sure about the ADR issue.

It is not a requirement to put tickets on your room key. If I were staying off site for part of a trip and then on site for a few days, I'd get the most economical ticket for my entire stay. Wouldn't worry about putting a ticket on the room key. AFAIK, they won't put a partially used ticket on a room key. If you want that, you could ask and see what they say when you check in.

You could only call 90 days ahead of the check in day for the on site resort. You could make ADR for the rest of your on site stay on that call, though.

You can't get the 90 +10 advantage for days that you are not staying on site. Even if you were staying on site first and then moving off site, you couldn't make ADRs for the off site days until the 90 day mark for each off site day.

Didn't seem dumb to me!

Enjoy your stay.

Thanks all! That makes sense...it was just one of those questions that pop up from too much obsessive planning for Disney trips! Also, we haven't stayed on-site before (stupid condo!), so I am not familar w/ the policies.

Thanks again!! :sunny:

The ADR's are 90 days before your first day at the resort. Since CRO only allows a max of 10days per reservation you get +10[max] when you hit 90 days so you can do ADR for your whole stay at one time.

I don't think you can get the "+10" for any days that are off site - even if your stay starts out on site.

Best wishes -
