How much is the discount for the ultimate park hopper? We are staying at the Boardwalk Villas in July for 10 days and I was wondering if I would be better off buying annual passes or the park hopper tickets.

Thanks :earboy2:

The DVC discount on a PAP is $125. ($100 for an AP). If you will not be going back to a Disney Theme Park within the next 365 days, the 10 day MYW (advance purchase) would likely be your best purchase.

The PAP with DVC discount would be $415.35 and the 10 day Premium MYW, with 5 plus options (admission to PI, Water Parks, DQ) would be $295.01 (and would expire within 14 days of first use). Tax is already included in these prices.

Just do the math and figure which will work best for your situation. If you will be able to go back within a year, the PAP may still be the best deal.

Enjoy!

I believe there are no more ticket discounts other than the discount on the Annual Passes. They don't even have ultimate park hoppers anymore - they are Magic Your Way tickets. You can look up the tickets prices on disney.com or mousesavers.com The discounts on the AP's are $100 and $125 on the PAP.

For 10 days, you're likely better off with an AP or PAP but depending on your usage method. Decide how many days you're likely to do the major and minor parks then you'll know once you run the numbers. If you can get another year use out of a pass, that should seal it as the best deal. If it's about a break even, I would go with the best pass option for you. It will relieve any stress of deciding whether to use a day for dinner and a couple of hours and there are some other benefits of having a pass. You might even decide on another trip to use it when you wouldn't otherwise.

Even if you only go once a year - it you could go in July this year and then June next year - you would get 2 trips out of the AP or PAP (close enough to once a year - you only move your vacation up a couple weeks the second year).
