Hi

Having not flown before, this may or may not be a simple question for you seasoned flyers.

We've booked with Virgin to fly Manchester to Orlando MCO.

The tickets have arrived - at the top it says Virgin Atlantic (fine)

At the bottom after Manchester T2 - Orlando MCO it say's Iceland Atlantic.

Nay ideas what this means?

Any help appreciated as ever.

Thank you...

It could be that their using air atlanta aircraft.
I'm sure someone will know the answer to this for you.
Sorry i cant really help

Hi crim1978,
You got your tickets early didn't you!
Now I've looked on mine and can't see either Manchester T2 or the Atlantic bit.
Let me know whereabouts on your ticket it is mentioned. You may need to describe it in idoit form to me - just for my benefit ;) , so I know what I'm looking for.

Mine doesn't say that on the bottom right. It just says Form of pyment, Original issue, docement number, place, date, gents numeric code.

Finanly have an answer.

Virgin couldn't tell me anything so contacted the travel agents directlt who advised that certain Virgin flights from Mancester to Orlando are operated by Iceland Atlantica on Virgin's behalf.

So at least it's resolved and we can stop panicing, apparently it's still a virgin plane and nothing else changes.

Thanks for your thoughts on this one.

Sure to be posting another irritating question very soon.

Crim

Yeah - the planes operated out of Manchester are all virgin red etc, but they lease them from Air Atlanta.
