Hello - my company offers a 20% discount on park tickets. However, they only offer 5 day hoppers or a one day ticket. If I get the five day hopper, can I add two days once we are at WDW for the same cost as it would normally be to add a 6th and 7th day? Thanks!

It says they are five day magic your way park hoppers, so I assume they are regular tickets, but I will confirm. thanks :)

So I asked if these tickets can have days added at WDW and they said "yes but by upgrading the ticket you will have to pay the difference in pricing, and subsequently forfeit the original discount". I believe that's incorrect though, as long as I use the ticket first and upgrade before the last day?? Help :)

Most discount tickets can be "price bridged", meaning, yes, you use it once to get into the park and when you go to upgrade it, you get the full retail value of the tickets. Without knowing what kind of ticket you are purchasing, I think it's going to be hard for anyone on here to give you a definitive answer.

Like DisneyWishes mentioned, it's hard to tell you specifically.

However, when we went in September we used 4-day park hopper tickets that had been purchased for us at a discount by an ESPN employee. When we got there, we wanted to add one more day. It was only $20 to add an extra day for both of us, so we didn't end up paying the difference. So there's hope?

The previous posters are handling the price/upgrade issues so I wanted to be sure to point out another negative to your plan. If you buy these tickets and then upgrade when you get to Disney, you will not be able to book your FP+ reservations for those days ahead of time. You would have to wait until you do the upgrade. This can be important for some people so wanted to be sure to point it out!

Correct. I would just get 7 day tickets from Undercover Tourist and be done with it.

A 20% discount is pretty good. Better than UT prices. But it would suck to not be able to upgrade as you wish and only able to find out once you are there.
