Ticket Question

I'm hoping someone can help me answer this question for my SIL....

In 2007 my SIL bought her 2 daughters non-expiring tickets. There are 4 days left on them but now her daughters are 13 & 17 years old.

How does this work for her now? What's her best option? I was debating calling Disney for her but thought I would turn here for some real life experience

It is fine! She can just go to guest relations with the girls and they will upgrade the tickets to "adult" tickets with the same entitlements left on the "children's" tickets. The kids must be present and the dates of purchase and past use must coincide with the kids ages now but she shouldn't have any issues. I did this when my kids turned 10 and my sil did it recently when my niece turned 10.

Okay next question.. Now she may only want to use 1 day.. would these tickets still be non expiring?

Another question does she have to pay the difference from child ticket to an adult ticket? or is the upgrade complimentary?
