Ticket question

Well as our mortgage rate is coming down we will have few extra hundred each month to spend! DF suggested last night that we could maybe go to WDW for a week in December!

Looking at ways of keeping the cost down and tickets seem to be the real clincher. We normally get the Ultimate 14 day ticket so my natural choice would be the 7 day premium. But then I thought could we not get a 6 day park hopper pass when we get there or through an american website.

Has anyone done this? any suggestions?

Take a look at the US Magic Your Way tickets, that way you can "customize" your ticket for what you want and also get 7 days. We had 10 Day MYW Park Hoppers this year and bought these from Orlando Attractions.. Can also recommend Undercover Tourist

One of cheapest places to buy UK tickets seems to be direct with Disney.co.uk. they are selling all tickets (5, 7 or 14 days) for £225pp

They give you access to everything.

You need to decide if you would want to park hop? water park?

6 day MYW with Undercover Tourist is $236 or £163
6 day with park hop is $287 or £198
6 day with water park & more $290 or £200
6 day with both hopper & water park & more $344 or £237

If you look at Undercover's site it shows the gate prices to compare (not a big saving)

I can recommend Undercover tourist, used them when we needed a MYW ticket - tickets came very quickly.
