Ticket Question

I just want some advice on which ticket to buy this year, I'm visiting Disney twice (in May and Nov) and wondered whether to renew my annual pass as I have once that expires in May from my wedding last year, or buy my tickets separately? I will be spending 5 days there in May and up to 14 in Nov. Is it worth the annual pass, or is there somewhere I can get the amount of days I need for less?

As you will be renewing it will be cheaper to do that than buy seperate tickets.

Your options are (I have priced using Undercover tourist to give you some figures to work with and used $1.5 as the exchange rate):

AP Renewal incl tax = $478 ~ £318

10 day park hopper non expiring to cover both trips but would only give you 5 days second trip - $498 ~ £332

5 day park hopper - $280 ~ £186
plus 14 Ultimate - £230
Total ~ £416

5 day park hopper - $280 ~ £186
plus 10 day park hopper - $296 ~ £197
Total ~ £383

I suppose you need to work out how much it will cost to renew your annual pass, compared to how much it would be to buy them seperately.
once you have worked out the difference in price factor in what benefits you get from the AP and whether you can make up the difference in free parking, discounts etc. Remember if you get the AP you can also buy the Tables in Wonderland card which gives further discounts off a greater range of restaraunts in WDW. I think it was 20 % and the way we looked at it was that once we had paid for the card (around $60 I think it was) it then covered all our tips for the rest of the holiday. It paid for itself in 2 meals.

I normally try to update a tickets thread every week or 2 but am offshore at the moment. The most recent one I did is HERE and it has links to all the ticket companies that are recommended by the regular users of this forum along with prices (although I suggest you check the prices before making a decision as they often change by a £ or 2 in either direction)
