I feel like I have read the answer to this question in the past - I apologize! - but when I tried searching, I couldn't figure out what term to use!

If I buy a single park ticket - can I use two days worth of tickets to go to two different parks on the same day? (In other words, say I buy a 6-day ticket. I am only visiting for 5 days. Each day I only plan to go to one park except one day. On one day, can I use two different "days" worth of tickets?

Does that make sense? :confused3 (You can see why I couldn't search - I can't even explain clearly what I hope to do!)

Thanks for any help with this question!!

nope. you're paying for days, not parks. the only way to visit 2 main parks in one day is to have the park hopping option.

I understand what you're asking.

I don't believe that's possible. What you need to visit multiple parks in one day is the ParkHopper option added to your ticket.

No need to search -- I believe this is all explained in the MYW ticket sticky.

And the answer is No.

A base ticket is one major (theme) park per day. You are allowed to re-enter the same park if you leave it on one day, but it can only be used at the one park.

If you put the ticket in the turnstile of another park the display on the Guest side of the turnstile will be "ACCESS DENIED". The top line of the display on the Greeter side will give information about the ticket, and the second line of the display will say "CROSSOVER NOT PERMITTED". The turnstile will not unlock.

This is because Disney charges $2.00 per day over five days on an adult ticket, but charges $45 to allow hopping. It does not make economic sense for Disney to allow this.

how do those little machines know ?

I found it fascinating the one day in the park, one of our party was back at the resort, but i had their AP. On a quirk we stuck it in a FP machine to see if we could get their FP. You know that darn machine even knew they weren't in the park and wouldn't give us a FP. Smart little feller.

used to work though.. used to be a 'bug' where it let expired APs obtain FPs.

they have to be run through the turnstile to be used for FPs that day now
