ticket question

me & my wife are going to disney again in nov 07. we need (4) total park hopper tickets to cover 4 days.
we also have a 4 year old that will need (4) park hopper tickets as well.

there are site that offer 3 day adult park hopper tickets that include (2) free days so that is a total of 5 park hopper tickets.

so can my daughter use my park hopper ticket right after i swipe it through the gate for (2) days? assume she uses my free days, then i'm thinking i only have to buy her (2) day park hopper tickets for a child & the other two days, she can use (2) of my free days & then my wife still has (2) free days left over

just making sure my adult ticket can be used by myself & then directly after i enter the gate, my 4 year old daughter uses the same card for (2) days worth of admissions

ok, nevermind, just read on the back of my tickets from last week that the card can only be used by the same person only.
but i will be able to save money since you can buy 3 day hopper tickets & get 2 free so i wont have to buy for the 4 days we will be there.

Of course the gate price of a 5 day hopper is only $14 more than a three day, and a child's is $9. I would suggest checking the prices on that site (be sure to include the 6.5% sales tax and any shipping charges) against the prices on Disney's site. Also if you buy your tickets at a Disney Store out of Florida or a room package on WDW there is an "advance purchase discount" on five day and longer hoppers.

The other thing is that if you attempt to use a ticket in a turnstiles within an hour of having used it earlier, you will be denied access and the Greeter side of the turnstile will show "recently used". I have had that happen to me when I was doing some shopping for park-specific items and had attempted to go into a second park within an hour of my entry into the first. As well as adult tickets take a "finger scan" to tie them to a particular individual when first used and are not transferrable.

ticket mania prices listed already have the tx figured out & that is part of the price listed. its the final ticket price. they also offer free shipping.
i compared the disney site prices vs ticket mania. we plan on going 4 days so we need 4 day adult tickets for two people & 4 day child tickets for one child.

since we can get 2 free days by buying a 3 day hopper for adults, that will cover our amount of days we need covered (me & wife) since we actually will have 5 total full day tickets now with the free tickets, we plan on going to MK the night we arrive. normally we wouldnt burn a full ticket for such a short time. since we will actually be going 5 days now, my 4 year old daughter will need a 5 day hopper.

You seem to have factored in a non-hopper ticket for the child when totaling the ticket mania prices... so it would actually be:

total: $696.00

Disney:
5 - day hopper for 2 adults & 1 child - $749.76 (including taxes)
4 - day hopper for 2 adults $ 1 child - $746.58 (including taxes)

So you would still be saving some money.. but not quite as much as before
