Ticket Question

I apologise if this is a repeated question but I couldn't find the information by doing a search...
Anyway, what is the best way to order tickets? Should I order online or just wait to be at the park? Also, does anyone know if the tickets are sold in other locations like Disney does with the Disney stores?

They do sell tickets at most of the hotels and at other places like the McDonalds by Universal and Walmart. But the best deal is online: the 2 plus 3 days free tickets.
