Ticket question

We are going to WDW this November and I am planning on buying a 10 day non exp. ticket for me and use 5 days this trip and the other 5 in 2008. My dd is also coming with me this year but not in 08 (anniversary trip for me and DH). My question is if I buy her the 10 day non-exp. ticket can her dad use the remaining days in 08?

Who ever uses the ticket the first time is the only one who can use the ticket the rest of the days as you also do a finger scan.

They also tell you it's a good idea to sign your name on the back of the ticket & like 5wdwfans just said, the 1st person to use the ticket is the only person who can use it again because of the scanning of your fingers. If your DH tried to use it then he could not get into the parks.
