We are buying AP's for our trip to BCV in Aug. When I call to make dinner reservations , do they ask for a AP number in order to get the AP discount or do you just get the discount when you get there? Im wondering if I'll even have a number to give since you only get a AP certificate to trade in when you get there. ???? :confused3

I'm assuming you mean the 10% you get off at lunch times, right? You don't need to give any numbers when you call to make your ADRs. You will give them your AP pass when they give you the bill, and the discount will be applied then.

Is there any reason anyone can think of to buy your AP's before you get to Disney?

I bought mine in advance to have just one more expense out of the way.

Other than that, there's really no reason. If there's a price hike imminent, it's a good idea to buy ASAP to price protect yourself. Since prices just went up in January, I don't think they'll raise prices until January of 2007 or later. :)
