Ticket question (yes, another one!)

We are going in September, and we have 7-day Plus Pack tickets (or whatever the heck they're called) without the hopper option. Say it's the morning of our 5th day and we decide we'd like to upgrade to the hopper option.

A. Can we even do this, seeing as we've already been using the tickets (i.e., does an upgrade have to happen prior to the tickets being issued)?

B. If it can happen, how much would the charge be? Would they charge us the hopper upgrade on a 7-day ticket, even though we have already used four days of it? Or would they only charge us for three hopper days (our 5th, 6th and 7th days)?

C. Also, does anyone know what the upgrade fee is per day? (Two adults, no kids.)

I hope this makes sense. I haven't had a chance to run down to Starbucks yet this morning!

The hopper rate is the same no matter how many days worth of tickets you purchase. The only upgrade that changes depending on the length of ticket is the no expiration option.

The fee for park hopper is a flat $35 per ticket.

I'm assuming your ticket doesn't have the non-expiration option. In that case, you can upgrade your ticket anytime up until 14 days after the first use. That means if you want to upgrade before you start using your ticket, you can. If you want to upgrade AFTER you've first used the ticket, you can. You'll have up until 14 days after you first use the ticket to process the upgrade though.

As has been addressed by the last poster - the cost to add hopping will be $37.28 ($35 + 6.5% sales tax) per ticket regardless of how many days are on the ticket, AND regardless of whether the ticket is an adult or child's ticket.

If I read your post right, we go up to the front desk of our resort (or Guest Services or wherever tix are sold) on the morning of our 5th day and say, "We want to upgrade to park hoppers." We each hand over $37.28 and we will then have three days of hopping. (By the same token, we could decide to upgrade on the morning of our 1st day, hand over $37.28 each, and then have 7 days of hopping.)

Still haven't gotten my frappuccino, so brain is not firing on all cylinders.

(The actual process involves handing over your tickets as well as your money, but you've got the general idea!!! )
