Ticket question, sorry!

Hi, I am getting the 7 day hoppers for our trip in August. I definitely pla to go back to WDW someday (went last may and we are hooked!) but I know for a fact that we will not go next year b/c we are going to Ireland with my DD7's Irish Dance group and it is close to $10K for us to go (yikes, I know)

Anyway, here is my question, should i just get the 10 day non-exp now and then still have the 3 days left on it to use down the road? The difference is @$500 for my family of 4. Is it worth it or should I just go with what I need now and worry about new tickets next time?

If you come back in the future for SEVEN DAYS, then you'd still need to by a FOUR DAY ticket on that trip (in addition to the 3-days of Non-expiring Tix you'd still have left.)

If you wait to purchase all 7 days, you would not need to buy the non-expiration option NOW or THEN.

You can do the math to see what that would be.

(You must figure that the costs will be slightly higher for the new tickets you will buy in the future.... BUT if you spend the $500 now (vs putting that money in a "returning to WDW savings account" or some such) you'll lose the "use" of that amount for a couple of years.

Those are the main considerations.
The math will give you the answer.
