Ticket question- promo ticket from Undercover Tourist

Hi there,

We are heading down in November for 6 nights, staying on site, and will have 5 full days available. I have been considering buying annual passes with the thought of coming back in Oct 2017 and doing HHN (my kids are turning 15 and 16). However, I was looking over at Under Cover Tourist and saw that they have a ticket available that is a 2Day Park to Park ticket plus two days free for $226.88. This is a great deal, as long as it will get us 4 days of park to park admission. We had been discussing taking a day to pool hop and relax during the trip so there could very well be a day where we don't enter the parks, in which case this would be a great option for us. Is this ticket legit? They say nonrefundable, so I don't want to get down there and find out I can't use it or it's not park to park on the two free days or something along those lines. Also, should we choose to upgrade to annual passes, are we able to do so off of these tickets?

I read these can not be upgraded to AP but Macraven or Damo will know for sure

Undercover tourist is TOTALLY legit.

If there aren't enough details in the info about the ticket, call them. They'll tell you what the ticket is all about.

But does that ticket help your October trip? I'd just buy the AP if your October trip is going to happen.

They can not be upgraded to an AP

Two days of the pass are promo tickets

Promo tickets are not upgradable

If you wish to upgrade guest services will only give credit for the 2 tickets of that pass you bought

I agree with Macraven. Generally what happens with a promo ticket, is that you are not given credit for the "free days" when they upgrade you to an annual pass.

What you really should do, if you are sure you want to upgrade, is contact Universal and ask them if the tickets are upgradeable.

Thanks! Since we aren't sure about next years trip, I'm tempted to grab these tickets now instead of buying an AP we may not get to use. Is there still a special link to get an added discount through Undercover Tourist... I'm remembering there used to be a link in the newsletters back when we were going to Disney a lot when the kids were younger. It's been a while, though.

The pricing seems to be the same when I click though the mousesavers link. I am considering the same deal for our Thanksgiving trip

Talked to Undercover tourist last week, the buy two get two free is not upgradeable, so if you are thinking of upgrading to an annual pass, you would be better off buying the buy two get one day free, which is not a promo ticket.
