Our daughter is likely going to bring one of her girlfriends down with us in April for our stay.(both 13yo) The three of us have AP, but the gf doesn't have tickets at all. Can we as DVC members, and/or AP holders, get a discount on a 4 day tckt for her somewhere? Or, what's the best deal we should do or look for?

There are no DVC (or AP) discounts available for other types of tickets. You can find a savings by ordering MYW in advance and there are a few outlets near Disney where there may be a small savings.

You should go to www.mousesaver.com to find a listing of brokers that sell park tickets. We purchaced our tickets through www.ticketmania.com and saved a few bucks. Also if you subscribe to the free mousesaver monthly newsletter you get a link to ticketmania that saves you a few extra bucks off the already discounted price. We used them on our last trip and they were excellent.

Thanks for all the info. I visit Mousesavers, but am not registered. I'll make a point of doing it. Basically, all we want it a 4 day parkhopper type ticket. We are going down to Vero one day, and also going to have the kids do a waterpark one day. We are trying to save her family a few dollars, since they'll be paying for airfair for her.

A 4 day expiry with park hopping is regularly $250.28. At ticketmania it is $238.00. You will probably save a few extra dollars by subscribing to the free mousesaver newsletter. The additional discount will only probably be a couple of dollars.

If you plan to sign up for the mousesavers' newsletter, do it within the next day or so. The newsletter goes out monthly on the 15th of the month to registered subscribers. If you don't sign up for the newsletter until the 15th or later, they do not send out the current newsletter -- you wouldn't get a copy until the following month.
