Ticket question for Family

I'm planning a family trip for May 2015 and if I pass ROFR I'll be a DVC member (OKW Feb UY 200 pts).

I'm planning on getting an AP for my wife and myself. I cant get the other 6 members of the family that is going on the trip an AP because they live in a different town. So if we book the trip can they do a MYW ticket when staying with us on a DVC vacation? I understand we can add the dining plan through MS. Just didn't know what to do about their tickets.

Yes, they can buy tickets through Disney, UT, AAA, etc. Then you or they can link the tickets to the appropriate MDE account.

UT (undercover tourist) would be a better deal if you need more than 3 days.

They can buy their tickets from anywhere they want. Often a better price can be found from an authorized ticket broker.

They can purchase MYW tickets direct from Disney or from any authorized reseller (Undercover Tourist, Maple Leaf Tourist, some AAA offices, some employers, some credit unions, etc.) and then link them to MDE.
