I am in need of some ticket advice. My daughter and her friend are planning on going to WDW on March 26-28, so are wanting to get 3-day tickets. We let the time slip by and now it is too late to order the tickets on line and have them mailed in time (at least too late for a comfortable time cushion).
My daughter doesn't have her own credit card. I talked to someone on the Disney customer service line and found out that you have to show them the credit card used to purchase the tickets and if it isn't your name on the card, you can't get the tickets.
So, the options I have thought of are:
1. My daughter's friend could possibly pay for the tickets with his credit card when they get to the park they are going to the first day. This is probably a silly question but with this option, he would be able to pay for both of their tickets, right? She wouldn't have to pay for her own ticket with a credit card in her own name, correct?
2. Get them each a Disney gift card for an amount to cover the cost of their ticket and have them each get their tix that first day. This is assuming you can use a gift card for payment at the ticket booth.
3. Purchase the tickets from somewhere like Undercover Tourist. It looks like their express shipping is only a couple of days. Since it looks like UT sends you real "live" tickets you wouldn't have to show any credit card or anything at the park, just go to the gate and go in.
Sorry for the questions, but I have never had the need to buy just tickets before. Thanks for any advice anyone can give me.
