I'm a new DVC member and joined after a recent trip this past September. The family stayed on property, loved it and we're going again in May. During the trip, I purchased 10 Day Park Hopper passes. Had I known we would be going again in May, I would have purchased an Annual Pass. Anyway we are going again in May and will need to purchase another 10 day pass.

Here is my question....does anyone know if Disney has a policy where you can "get credit" for prior ticket purchases and apply that towards the purchase of an annual pass? I doubt it, but just thought I'd ask the experts.

I'm sure I'm not the first person to go to WDW, love it, and then decide to return right away as a DVC member. Thanks!

All ticket upgrades must be done within 14 days of first use. This applies even if the no expire option was purchased.

erionm is correct. I just wanted to add, that on the Theme Parks board is the best resource about WDW tickets which I have ever seen. It is this thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1452684

The poster who maintains is, is a CM who works at a WDW ticket office, so the information is first hand.

Welcome to DVC!!

We had a similar situation when we joined DVC [BLT] in March. Our first trip home was this last Sept and we got APs. With DVC, we will have 4 trips in 360 days; thus maximizing our AP/TIW benefits. We'll then take a year off and do an AP/3-4 trip year again; with maybe a HHI trip in the of year.
