Does anyone know when they will post any deals (if there are any) for tickets for use in October?

We will be in the parks starting October 1st, and the 2 days free ends on Sept 30th. Go figure!

I just want to know when I can expect the new pricing to be put up, so I can order our tickets. I know you can get them at regular price now, but I am hoping for a special deal.

Also I am thinking of ordering tickets for Mickey's TOTP. Will those be posted on Disneyland.com as well?

There weren't any ticket deal last year. The best price seems to be last minute travel.

TOTP tickets will be on sale on the DLR website. Last year AP, Disney Visa holders, maybe DVC could purchase in May. Open to the public in August.

I was just on another thread discussing this...I checked last minute travel and the price for the 5 day park hopper is the same now as it is when I put in October dates, $155.33, which seems to be the best price around. I just am anxious about purchasing this far in advance. Can anyone tell me if they've bought tickets from them that far in advance?

That is a good price! I was just looking on there too. Only thing is, we were planning on being in the parks for 6 days. But I guess we could do something else one of the days. Spend the day in Hollywood or something.

I was wondering about purchasing that far in advance too. I would like to get it over with and have the tickets, but it's still 4 months away.

We are going in November so I feel your pain on wanting ticket price deals :)

My concern with buying now is that we may get tickets that reflect the current promotion but that are void come October 1st. KWIM? I would email LMT directly to confirm the price and when its vaild before purchasing :)

LMT doesn't participate in the current promotion. Their 5 day tickets are more than the 3 day, plus you put in your travel dates. On the otherhand, I'll wait until it gets closer to buy our tickets for October.

There's no way you can start your vacation one day earlier? We just got our 5 for 3 tickets in the mail yesterday and it says that the first visit must be by Sept 30, but they are good until October 15.

Thanks for the info, I had no idea LMT was such a good price. I just thought it was the Disney Promo. I'll probably wait until closer but this really makes my day because it saves us $200 in the long run :)

I would love to go a day earlier to make use of the current promotion. Except we are driving from Canada, and can't leave any earlier than the evening of September 29th. :sad2:

BUT! Since I have posted this, I have come up with an idea.

Our original plan was to get 6 day park hoppers, but since LMT only sells up to 5 day, I am thinking we will take our savings and go to Six Flags for a day, since that has always been a wish of ours. As long as we can still get the full 5 days in the parks, I will be ok with that!

Thanks for all the help! :thumbsup2

They did run some fall package specials last October. I would assume any deal to come would start right where the current promo leaves off. I think last year it was a better deal if you stayed more nights. We were working through a travel agent because I was coordinating a bigger group, so I don't recall the exact terms.

What happened for our family of 6: We had originally booked two park days and three nights at the Disneyland Hotel but had always planned to upgrade to a three-day right before going. When the promo came out (there were actually a couple), we stayed three park days and four nights at the DLH -- for $15 more per room total! That was way less than my original plan just to upgrade the park tickets.

I looked back at my posts from last year because I remember we had a big thread about the deals. They released the deal around the middle of August, I think right after the booking window for the previous promo ended. So that might provide a timing clue.

Don't know if any of this helps, but you might wait to buy your tickets until you're sure they've released all the deals you might be able to use.

Well now I am not sure what to do! Lol.

Do I wait to see if there is a sale? What if there isn't one, and the prices on LMT have gone up?

Right now if you buy a day pass to Six Flags online, it's only $32.99 instead of the regular $54.99, which is a good deal.

So maybe I will stick with my 5 days at the parks plan and wait for Disney tickets, but get Six Flags ones now.

Who knew that a trip to Disneyland could be so complicated!! :confused3

Nevermind Six Flags. It's not open on weekdays that time of year, and weekends is WOC and Fantasmic! and I can't miss any of those! Maybe some time in Hollywood and a trip to the beach would be fun!

Well that is good to know about Six Flags. I was planning a trip to Magic Mountain so my son could check out the Thomas the Train section. Now I guess we should plan something else or maybe still go there on the weekend. Gay Days is that weekend we are there so Disneyland parks may be crazy.

Yeah I was thinking about that too.

We then maybe thought about going on Friday Oct 1st, then spending Saturday-Wednesday in DL, but it's closed that day too. But no other Friday's that month :headache:

So now we are thinking maybe on the Sunday. Go to DLR for Friday and Saturday, Six Flags Sunday, and back to DLR Monday-Wednesday. But that's a lot of driving, so we'll have to see.
