Hi everyone! I need help with ticket pricing. I am so confused with all the different options on the website.
What is a normal entry price like for epcot?
how about universal?

thanks so much!

The theme parks want you to spend your entire trip visiting THEM (and not their competitors) so they provide you lots of incentive to buy longer tickets. The basic one day admission to the Disney theme parks is around $71 now ($60 for children). That gets you into one of Disney's four parks for the day. If you want to visit more than one of Disney's parks that day, it will be about $119 ($108). The more days you visit, the less each additional day costs, up to 10 days. The 10 day ticket is only $230 -- ten times the admission for less than three times the cost.

All those tickets expire 14 days after you first use them, though. If you want, you can purchase an admission ticket which is "good forever". That almost doubles the price, though, for the 10 day ticket. However, it is less expensive than buying that $71 first day again.

I think the best way we can help you is if you tell us when you're visiting, what attractions you want to visit, how many different trips to Central Florida you plan to make over the next few years, and the number and ages of those in your party. Then we can make specific recommendations.

I'm thinking about using Maple Leaf for our tickets. We'll be there the week of Oct 23. Anyone have other reliable suggestions for purchasing tickets?

Magic Your Way is what they call all their tickets now.
A basic MYW ticket can be purchased for 1-10 days. A 1 day ticket costs around $70 and a 10 day ticket costs a little over $200. So the longer you stay, the cheaper it is per day.
This basic MYW ticket allows you to get into any of the 4 theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, MGM Studios)
This basic ticket expires 14 days after you first use it. So if you buy a 7 day ticket, you can spend 7 days in any of the theme parks within 14 days after the first day you use it.
The basic ticket does NOT allow you to go to 2 different parks on the same day.

Then on top of that basic MYW ticket, there are 3 options you can add for an additional price.
Park Hopping - This allows you to visit 2 parks on the same day (you'd still only use one day of your admission)
No Expiration - This eliminates the 14 day expiration. So you could use 5 days of a 10 day ticket, then come back 2 years later and use the other 5 days of that same ticket.
Water Parks and More - This adds a number of admissions to Disney's water parks or Disney Quest or Pleasure Island. So if you buy a 10 day ticket and add the water parks option, you get the regular 10 days of theme park admission, plus you can go to the water parks or DQ or PI like 5 or 6 times.
