Ticket prices to rise on August 5th

You would think that Disney would give everyone a break and take a year off from raising prices!!?! It's unbelievable.

The chart listed does not cover all the tickets. Within the next couple of days I will post the complete list in my sticky.

Also, on August 5 we are scheduled to begin on-site sales using the Florida Resident Annual Pass Monthly Payment Plan for new APs. Also, Renewal APs will be available under the MPP both on-line and on-site.

Do you know if there is still going to be a Florida Resident Annual Pass RENEWAL price tier offered? The renewal isn't listed on the new price structure.

TIA

A fact that most people don't consider is that businesses also have increasing costs, I know because I own a business. My employees want raises. My utility costs go up. Same for insurance. Not to mention the cost of goods that I buy. If I didn't raise prices, I eventually would not make a profit. If that happens, then why be in business?

Disney is going into union contract negotiations this fall and I can most assure you that their cost of payroll will increase.

The ticket price increases are small (one day ticket price increased 3.8%).

When my AP is up for renewal, I will definitely renew it. I see it still as a good value.

I don't see a problem with the increase.

I was so focused on looking at the adult price changes in tickets, that I almost didn't notice the huge increase in a child's ticket. For an 8 day pass It has gone from $204 to $229 a $26 increase, while the adult for the same is going from 237 to 252. a $15 increase.

It looks to me that disney is trying to get money from the children now.

Like I said I was so focused on the adult prices that I almost missed it.

Kids 10 day park hoppers went up 12%. IMO that's more than a small increase.

Wonder how many replies to that blog post are going to be censored out.

Key changes are:

1. The one day adult ticket went up $3 and the one day child ticket went up $6.
2. Days more than four went up from $3 each to $5 each.
3. Hopping and WPF&M went from $52 to $54.
4. NE went up from a $18 to $209 range to a $22 to $213 range. The 5 thru 9 days went up a lot.
