:earsboy: Hi off to Disney on 6.24-6.29 for a conference/ family vacation with my ds (6) and my niece (16 - she has lived with me since she was 10)...we arrive mid-day Friday and half most of the day Friday, all day Saturday, morning on Sunday, afternoon and evening on Monday and afternoon and evening on Wed to visit parks, spend time a pool (we are staying at CSR) and shop (of course). My conference is offering 3-day hoppers for the two adults and one child for 454.00 and 4 day hops for 599. They also have some special after 2 tickets but given our schedule they are not worth it....I know we want to do EPCOT (I have been told this takes an entire day so saturday may be it....also want to go to AK which I think is easily done in half a day). It it realistic to try to do MK or MGM for half day and just hit the big things (we have been there before) - I know my son with love the CSR pool and may just want to stay there - I guess I wonder if the 3 day hopps with the pleasure island or disney quest would cover our needs

Both the 3 day and 4 day ticket prices that you quoted are decent prices (cheaper than the discount tix outlets). If it were my family, I either get the 4 day tickets and spend 1 full day each at MK and Epcot and 1/2 day each at MGM and AK or pick one park to skip and split up my 2 full days and 1 half day accordingly.

Pleasure Island isn't recommended for kids. My family loves going to Downtown Disney for food, shopping and treats, though. You can get discounted tickets for both Pleasure Island and DisneyQuest from http://www.ticketmania.com.

You may want to make some Priority Seating reservations for meals at the parks (407-WDW-DINE).

Enjoy your trip!

Many people are not recommending the hoppers but the conference is offering only a few ticket options 2,3 or 4 day hoppers or 1-2 day after 2pm tickets - they also have the option with the hoppers of one trip to PT or Disney Quest. I dont know much about Disney Quest but it sounds like something my son would like....I am still torn between the 3 or 4 day - I guess with the 3 days option we could relax and get to know the hotel and go visit downtown disney on friday (or is there a park where friday is a slower day - even in peak season) or possibly do AK on Friday since it is so close to CSR (what time does AK close) - then spend all day at EPcot saturday and the rest i will need to plan
