I am trying to figure out tickets for our September trip. I do not think if you are a DVC member that you can get length of stay passes, is that correct?

So basically I could buy Park Hoppers, APs (which I don't want/won't get enough use of), other options?

We think we will only go to the parks 2-3 days this trip, so I was thinking of getting the 10 day no-expiration tickets to get the cost per day as cheap as possible.

Any other suggestions?

Length of Stay passes no longer exist. You can buy AP's with the DVC discount or the 1 to 10 day MYW tickets.

Maybe true in U.S. but here in U.K> we can still purchase length of stay passes . I'm not though as i'm going for premium AP's for 6 week trip.
Can anyone tell me if they do refill mugs at OKW yet Hope you see this Diane as you seem to be the lady in the know where OKW is concerned. Yes we absolutely love it there too :cool1:

So sorry---- read the post wrong. The length of stay passes here are booked as part of a package trip so wouldn't apply to DVC anyway

This is what we did last month. We figured we would get some inflation protection. I'm pretty sure ticket prices won't go down ;) We're all set on tickets for the next 2 trips!

Even with packages, you can now buy MYW tickets for any length, you don't have to buy them for the exact number of days as your package. You could buy a package for 8 days but only buy a 6 day pass or you could buy a 10 day pass and save the extra days for another trip.

We are also purchasing 10 day tickets with no expiration. We'll probably go to parks 3 to 4 days this time then enjoy our pool at SSR the other days! We'll have our tickets for the next trip(s).

It's up to you, but AP's with the DVC discount are less expensive than a 10 day no expiration pass. So, if you think you are going to the parks for more than 8 days, go for the AP pass. It also gives you many discounts as well as, DDE discount. :teeth:

I think the 10 day no-expiration is your best deal if only going to the parks 2-3 times this trip and have no other plans for the next year.
In our case, since we are FL residents, I got the seasonal AP so that we could get the dining experience discount ($50 instead of $75). For DH and stepson, we are getting the 10 day no-exp + Hopper + MP (which give us 5 visits to the water parks for only $45 and no expiration!!). That way we can go to any park during the day and go have dinner at epcot. Even if we make more than one trip during the year, we usually don't go to disney's parks more than 5 times a year. We also like to go to Universal and Seaworld, so we figure it was a best deal to get the MYW passes which we could use for 2 years, or more, depending, instead of AP that will only last a year even if we only went 3 times to the parks.

Sounds great, but we wont be back for over a year and I don't think we'll get the 8 days in.
