Ticket Office opening times?

Hi everyone!

Just managed to nab a second on here at work to ask a question that I've been wondering the answer to!

AK is open on our arrival day until 7pm. We should hopefully be at AKL but 5.30pm.

We need to activate our APs when we get there, so I was planning on getting the bus to DTD to do so, but wondering if maybe the much shorter bus trip to AK might be the wiser way to go.

Will the ticket offices be open until park closing though? I can imagine they'd shut earlier...

The ticket offices at the parks shut before park closing, but I don't know how long before. I could hazzard a guess that it is an hour before at the very least.

I think you will have less stress going to DTD where you can do them at the information centre until 11 pm. If you are delayed on arrival the stress of getting to AK in a hurry negates the convenience of it being a shorter trip to get there. I would rather arrive, have time to get settled and not have the pressure on going to DTD. If you go to AK just before park closing you are likely to fight the masses for a bus back as everyone will be leaving the park about the same time you want to come back.

You don't need a ticket office to activate an AP, Guest Services is fine and fairly sure one of those will remain open until, or very close park closing just in case people have issues with any number of things.

Personally I am always way too optimistic about my arrival and never seem to make that magic time I thought I'd be ready to head out the room again for the evening
