DH & I are planning to purchase the 10 day non-expiring MYW tickets as we have decided that these would be the best for us to use over the course of two years. Where we are undecided is to purchasing the park hopping/plus pack features. Normally we visit only one park per day, although we have on occasion park hopped on short trips. We have also thought that purchasing the plus pack would give us extra visits to the water parks, etc. for years to come thereby purchasing at this year's prices. Would you go ahead and spend the money now upfront for these features or wait and see? I think I have understood that the MYW tickets can be upgraded at a later date--especially if we will be adding on the no-expiration feature. What is your take on this? Any expert advice out there? :scratchin

I'd start with the 10 day non-exp. than see later if I want a hopper or waterpark feature.

I would figure if I'm going on a busy time of year,a warm enough time of year to go to the water parks....

I still have a bunch of waterparks options lest from my old hopper passes and haven<t even gotten around to doing them. I bring them at each trip and always prefer to sit and relax at the pool instead of fighting over a lounge chair at an overcrowded park....Taking a break from the theme parks to go stand in line at another kind of park usually discourages me and the kids don<t mind relaxing by the pool with their refillable mug and food court plus hotel room nearby.

I would choose the hopper option over the waterparks & d quest option. You can always pay out of your pocket if you decide you really want to go to a waterpark.

Hope this helps....

Yes you can add features to a (MYW) pass after you bought it and even after a few days, I think 6 days, someone else said 13 days, since you started using it. You can add the non-expiration (priced for the original number of days on the pass) later too, provided the pass hasn't already expired (13 days after first usage).

Adding the plus pack to a 10 day pass, you get five visits. If you take these(waterpark, etc) visits on days you do not go into the theme parks, you may get up to 15 days of usage (14 if expiring) out of the pass. The plus pack makes sense if you go to waterparks twice, twice in your life if the pass is non-expiring.
