I know this is posted somewhere, but it's easier to ask and I don't have time to search at this moment.

I'll be ordering MYW w/hopping passes from Ticketmania within the next few days and I want to get a lanyard to carry it around my neck, but want to make sure it will fit inside the holder I'm looking at purchasing. What is the size of the MYW pass? Is it the paper or plastic ticket that Ticketmania sells?

TIA!

All tickets that you actually USE at WDW, will be the size of a credit card.
This is because they all have to work in the ticket-readers at the front gates and all the FP machines.

Sometimes (in certain cases) you are buying a "voucher" that must be exchanged for a "real ticket" (or simply "activated") at WDW Guest Services, but the ticket you finally get, will be the same shape as a credit card,

We purchased the same tickets @ Christmas. The tickets were paper but we put them on our room key @ guest services @ our resort so we only had one card to carry and it was plastic.

As Robo said, all WDW tickets are the same size and shape as a credit card.

All TicketMania tickets, and for that matter all tickets sold by brokers and other authorized third parties like local hotels, are Tyvec.

If you're looking for a lanyard, I recommend this 97-cent beauty from WalMart:

So do need I trade in the Tyvec pass for a card-type pass at the gate or resort check-in? This is the first time ordering tickets. The last time we were at WDW we had a package and the park tickets were included on our room key...very convenient.

You don't have to trade in the Ticketmanis tickets at all. They are completely useable as is. Just stick them in the turnstile at the park entrance.

Some people prefer to have their tickets on their resort ID. Your Disney resort's Lobby Concierge can transfer those tickets to your resort ID if you prefer, but it isn't necessary to do.

Can anyone tell me the best place to purchase park tickets either online or in person? Am going in June for the first time in over 20 years!!! Thanks in advance!! Nancy

My personal preference is the broker that has been mentioned in this thread, TicketMania.com.

TicketMania's prices are a little better than Disney's, and they wil either deliver to you by mail, or drop your passes off at your resort the day before you check in, or allow you to pick yor tickets up from their office in Orlando. Resort delivery is the best option.

i got tickets throught ticket mania as well... great service, fast shipping, i go it before the prices went up in DEC. went back to get another one and they were charging alot for shipping, it made it actually cheaper to get them at the Disney Store in the mall... i want to say they were 234.00 for a 5 day hopper pass... and you don't have to pay for shipping.. haven't been there in a while, so not sure if it has changed! Good luck!
