I did read over the ticket FAQ but couldn't find the answers to these questions...

~ One person traveling with us purchased a ticket online. He will not be staying at the resort, so no Magic Band. Will he get an actual paper ticket?? Like to use for fastpasses? If so, where can he do that? At the resort (even though he's not staying there, he will be meeting us there)?

~ My girls and I have "old" Magic Bands that had our APs attached to them. We are buying tickets online (probably just one day, maybe multiple day)...can I get those new tickets attached to the bands we already have? If so, how do I go about doing that?

Thanks!!

- your friend will receive a hard, plastic ticket that will be used for park entrance and FP lines.

- attach your new tickets to your MDE account where your MagicBands are also linked. You can then use your MagicBands for park entrance and FP lines.

- add your friend to your MDE and link the ticket to your friend. You can then select FPs for everyone.

Thank you! Where will he get this "hard, plastic ticket"??
Did he choose to have the ticket mailed to him? Or, did he choose Will Call? If Will Call, he'll have to pick up his ticket at the park. Link the Will Call Confirmation number to your MDE to book FPs.

If he has an MDE and purchased his ticket through his MDE account it will be linked there but he'll still have to pick up the ticket when you arrive.

Will call....he's already linked to our MDE and has the same FP.
So "will call" is only at the park entrance, not at the resort? What will he need to pick it up, just his conf #? Thanks again :)

He can pick it up at the resort. Or, if you are bypassing your resort, you can go straight to the park and pick up his ticket there. With online check-in, you no longer have to physically check-in at the a Front Desk. The resort will text you your room number and you can go straight to your room.

He'll need his Confirmation number and ID. The CM may ask for the credit card that was used for purchase.
