Do unused Universal tickets from Undercover Tourist truly lose all value on their expiration date? From what I understand, unused Disney tickets expire, but their value can be used towards a new ticket. Just wondering how they compare.

Thank you!

The promo tickets would expire when they say they expire. Not sure about others.

I've never heard that you could use the value of an expired Disney ticket towards a new ticket.
Id assume it would need to be a very specific case, like the ticket never had any days used.
In the end if you had an unused ticket that was expiring you could contact customer service before it expires and maybe they could work with you.

For example I had a two day all day eat ticket for sea world and only used one day. It was only good for two weeks from the use of the first day.
I contacted customer service to see if I could upgrade to an annual pass and instead they gave me a one day all day eat ticket that was good for one year, so its always worth reaching out and seeing what they can do for you.

I have read that you can use the expired ticket at WDW and that you just have to pay the difference of the current ticket price. It makes total sense. Contact Universal as it isn't a topic that comes up here very often. Tickets didn't usually expire until recent changes.

The UO tickets I have are from about 2016

On the back of them some state expires 2030 or never expires

I have had the ap but bought tickets for family members to use for when they go with me
These tickets were handled at the park

I have no idea what the current policy is
Things change at times so not up to current procedures

Right. If you haven’t used a ticket at all, and it expires, you get the price you paid towards a current ticket.

Disneyland’ers have been dealing with this for ages.

I can’t think of a reason why Universal wouldn’t do the same.
