Ticket increase??

Only Disney knows. The last one was early, they usually increase in August.

In recent years they've increased in January, June and August. Going back further it's been September, May and every other month on the calendar.

Disney likes to catch people off-guard at times. When a price increase is pending we're lucky if word leaks out through UNOFFICIAL sources more than 3-4 days in advance. To know about that you really have to be watching websites and message boards actively.

Disney itself typically does not announce future price increases.

Usually the news is leaked on the Disboards a few weeks before the increase. Past two years it has occured in Aug.

I don't know about WDW, but we are staying at VGC in DL starting 10/4 and imagine my suprise to learn that ticket prices increased 10/1 !! It is quite an increase for a family of 5. Oh well, it certainly won't keep me out of the park.

Can't you buy tickets today at the lower price for your trip next week?
