I have never been to Universal and and trying to understand their ticket options. I see on UT the two day park to park tickets (with an extra day free) are $200 each. How does the front of the line pass thing work? Is that a ticket you must purchase from Universal? Is it and add on you purchase at Universal? Is it a ticket I can purchase from UT (and just am not seeing...)?

How much more is the front of the line pass? Is it worth it? (Trip late May.)

If I am readying correctly, you get the front of the line pass for free if you stay on site. Correct?

You can get express passes by staying at a Deluxe Universal Resort (HRH, PB, RPR) or by buying express passes to go with your park passes. You do not need to purchase tickets from Universal to get express passes.

If purchasing the express pass you will have to check your dates as they are priced by how busy Universal expects the parks will be.

All hotels on property get early entry.

if you are not staying at one of the 3 deluxe hotels and want to buy the express pass, wait until you are in the park.

they are nonrefundable.
and, they are date and park related.
if it pours down rain, there will be no crowds in the park, no long wait lines....


if you go and its crowded all ready in the morning, buy the ep at guest services or in one of the shops in the park.

check the ticket site to see the cost of the ep for the dates you will be there.
if the ep is going for $40, you don't need it.

If you are not going to stay onsite but still want express passes, make sure you compare the price of purchasing the bundled ticket with express in comparison to purchasing a UT ticket and then adding the express separately. The bundled express is a very good deal.
