Ticket expiration dates-How to find it on a ticket already linked?

Planning a trip next May for three of us. The cheapest price is a 7 day which will expire Dec 2018. I already have a 6 day linked from a previous package that my friend could not make the trip on. I would like to keep it for a future trip as I suspect it expires later than 2018 but can't see any expiration on MDE. Is the only way to call Disney?

My reasoning on keeping it is that prices only go up and we do want 7 days in park so being able to book FP for all 7 ahead of time would be better. Plus I'd have my next solo trip ticket already but not sure when that trip would be.

They have started to introduce expiration dates over the past year or two. Most are pretty far out-the last one I bought had 2029. Which is why I am surprised by the 2018 on the ones I am looking at.

I guess your 7 days ticket is from either Boardwalk Ticketing or Park Saver... That is the initial redemption deadline they set... It goes further than that. And redeeming means you take the vochure and go to guest relation n get the RFID card. If you link your tickets to MDE it will show you the ticket is valid till 2030. I just linked one a week ago. As for your used ticket, I don't think you got an expiration date before first use. If you are in doubt... You could ask Guest relation when you get down to WDW... Then they could confirm the expiration date... Also they could help prioritise which ticket to use for you as well. In case your 6 days one expire first... You can always add 1 day to it and use it as 7 days.

And, if (IF) a MYW ticket does eventually "expire," it does not become a dead, wasted expense.

After the expiration date (and, at this juncture, there are only a very, very few tickets that do expire) you can use the value
of what you originally paid for the expired, unused ticket to help pay for a new ticket.

I think the new 1 day tickets and the FL resident 3/4 day tickets are the only ones that could expire before being used really. And I checked with our new APs on MDE and it says 2030 so that's good (we'll use them next year or the year after anyway)
