Ticket discounts?

Any word/thoughts on ticket discounts coming to dvc members? We're going in May and I'd like to go ahead and buy the tickets soon so we can make our FP+s, etc. But if there are discounts coming, I'll wait... Anyone know anything? (I don't think it's going to make sense for us to buy an AP this year...)

So far its a mention in the annual member meeting.
Last years meeting mentioned a "special D23" membership that wound up being the same thing the general public got.

If you go to a water park and are buying one-day tickets, there is a discount of $4 adult and $3 child at the gate.

You can't make FP+ until 60 days so I would wait until at least then. To be honest, I wouldn't hold your breath, they really didn't promise anything, just that they are "trying".

We are going in May too and are waiting to see what they offer...there is talk of "discounts" but no word on exactly what--tickets, dining, etc...? They were so non-specific at the meeting so I am going to wait since we can't book FP until March anyway. I'd wait until then.
