Ticket discounts?

Is it better to buy tickets online or pay at the gate? Has anyone ever bought from ebay tickets? Any tips on how we can save some money for our tickets?

I wouldn't buy from ebay....too risky and you might end up paying more in the long run.

Ticket discounts are very small.....And if you need just a couple days - pretty much nonexistant.

You can save $10 - $25 or so by getting a 'deal' on undercovertourist or AAA or similar....but it isn't a huge amount.

Do a search on the YES program on here and you can read about that type of ticket - that one does save quite a bit but you have to attend a class in WDW.

undercovertourist is probably the best rates - they include taxes in their quotes and their customer service is great. We bought our Universal tix through the Mousesavers link last January. Actually picked them up instead of using shipping due to last minute plans. It was very easy-

Once upon a time ... long before we knew about this site, my husband and I bought tickets on Ebay. They where are great price, one day and claimed to be new and never used. We get to the gate and it turns out it was a seven day ticket with one day left on it. We could not use them because of the finger print. When we got home we tried to file a claim to get our money back, but the person hold already closed down the bank accounts and there was no way, without spending thousands on an attorney, to get our money back.

I have check so many Authorized Ticket Brokers (Maple Leaf, Orlando Fun, Tickets at Work) once you add tax and shipping to the price UndercoverTourist with the Mousesavers discount is the VERY best deal I have ever found.

UT is realiable, has great customer service and ships fast. UT included tax in their prices and ships for free. There is no comparison.

Don’t forget about the tickets through the children’s hospital. You get some freebies along with the tickets. This might not work for everyone, we are thinking about doing this.

I would not buy from Ebay... buy from AAA, Undercovertourist, or Ticketmania.

I have seen this, is this something we could use for all 4 of us if we only have one child able to participate since our youngest is 5?

I actually bought these tickets just this week, and the number of adult tickets cannot exceed the number of child participants. It does seem that there is an exception whereas you can purchase 2 parent tickets with 1 child ticket. Either way, you will save substantially over any other ticket option, and believe me, I have researched all of them. Here's the link:

On my recent trip (2 weeks ago) I found that several area Walmarts have started selling theme park tickets, including Disney tix. They were discounted, but not by much (I believe they were only $1 or $2 off). But since I stopped in to buy some other things, it saved me from having to stand in line at the ticket kiosk.
