Ok, I am not sure what type of ticket to buy. Here is the situation. We will be in disney at Easter for 6 days, and we will be back in October for 4 days.
I am not sure whether to get an AP for $420 or a 10 day MYW park hopping no expire ticket for $353. When we go in October we are hoping to stay at the Poly a huge, huge splurge for us (last trip to disney for a long time), so I am leaning towards AP for the possible discounts. Right now I have us booked for Easter at CSR with the BDP code and if I change it to the AP code it will save us $60, but I am not even sure if I can apply the code or if they are sold out of their AP rate rooms. Should I spend the extra money on the AP and hope and pray for discounts? Will I kick myself if I buy the AP and there ends up being a general public code that is almost as good?
What to do?
Help!!!

The difference between the two is $67, and you said that if you can change BDP to AP rate for your Easter trip, you'll save $60 (+tax??). Well, I'd definitely call ASAP and see if you can get the AP rate for your Easter trip, and if so, then I'd go for it!!! Buy your AP after you know that you've got that rate. I'd then look into the DDE for meals -- seems like a great deal to save 20% on your meals (including Fantasmic Dinner pkg and most other shows/meals) for only $50.

You'll more than break even just with these. And if you get an AP rate for Oct., that's even more savings!

However, if you can't get the AP rate for Easter, then that's a hard decision to make. We, too, got BDP for our Easter trip, and chose not to buy the AP because the AP rate was only a few dollars better (and we weren't going back within the year). Good luck whatever you decide! :wizard:

I also say use the AP if you can. Being able to get the 20% off dining is going to more than cover the cost of the AP. If you are definitely staying at the Poly you will probably get a pretty large discount per night off of that rate with the AP in October.

just me and my DH. We have 5 days left over on a park hopper that we are going to use for our oct trip.
