we are trying to do a mostly resort trip in July at BWV with our 2yo and 6yo. 2yo turns 3 midway thru trip. we assume there is a ton to do if we only do parks 2 days of the 6 day trip. But from cost perspective, does it make sense? The diff in price seems to be not much between a 2-day and 5-day. The ONLY reason we'd consider more park days is having the option being so close to epcot, we could easily go there for a few rides or meals. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions on non-park activities and thoughts on ticket prices. Thanks! Also because it is SO hot in July we are thinking resort activities would be fun, pool time, etc.

Park days get less expensive per day as you add more days, so it usually makes sense to add on extra days. You could also always buy the days you know you'll use and add more if you're there and want to go to the parks.

Remember you will be close to not only Epcot but also Hollywood studios. I personally like having park hoppers when staying near Epcot so I can change plans or parks as I feel like it. Epcot has so many dining options it's hard to want to limit them. During the evening, the boardwalk really comes to life. In the afternoon, it's pretty quiet.

We did skip park days on our arrival day and were happy to walk around, ride the boat, etc.

Your 2 year old is free. Disney will consider him 2 for your entire trip.
