Hello, all-

I purchased tickets from the Disney website and received a ticket confirmation with barcode. It says to "go to the park entrance with the confirmation e-mail" along with photo ID and the credit card that the tix were purchased with. Do I need to go to Will Call to get tix or do I just go to the turnstile with the barcode?

Thanks!

What type of ticket was it?

Regular ol' Magic Your Way - no hoppers, nothing extra.

I'm just trying to figure out how early I need to be at the park if I need to get tickets.

You need to go to any ticket booth, Will Call window or Guest Relations.
Allow an extra 20 minutes if you are on your way to a park.

As an alternative, you can go to the Disney Springs Guest Relations and get your tickets.

Thank you! We will be in Orlando for two days before we do any of the WDW parks, so we will make a point to hit Disney Springs at least the day before we go to the first park.

Thanks so much!

When I purchased 6-day passes from Southwest Vacations back in October, they emailed me a confirmation with a barcode and a 12-digit "Disney Reservation Number". I used that number to link my tickets in "My Disney Experience", and then I was able to book fast passes at the 60-day mark (staying onsite room-only). I also have old magic bands linked to my account that still would work for admission purposes. This may save you a trip to Will Call if you are able to link your tickets ahead of time. I've never bought tickets from Disney directly, so I'm not sure if they use the same barcode setup as Southwest Vacations.

I'm confused... wouldn't these be linked in MDE and already set on your Magic Band? Or is this response only true if you do not link the tickets?

The OP didn't mention having a MagicBand.

If the background on your barcode is blue and the instructions say "proceed to park entrance" you can go directly to the touchpoints with your barcode and ID. You'll be issued an RFID plastic card by the touchpoint CM who scans the barcode. It's the new-ish "direct to gate" system. Don't ask me my opinion of this system; it's not DIS appropriate.

If the background on the barcode is yellow and the instructions say to come to a ticket window, come to a ticket window.
