Just got my UT tickets in the mail (2 + 2 PTP Promo) and was debating scanning them to the Universal app? Pros/cons? I’m planning on upgrading the tickets to seasonal passes once we arrive so perhaps I should simply hold onto the paper tickets for now? Can my family members still use their paper tickets if we scan them to the app? I know I’ll be the only one to use the app and have a login.

Is there still a photo card for Express Pass or is it now your room key?

Our last time at Universal was the week the Fallon ride opened, so we avoided the lines and didn’t ride. Honestly, after reading a bunch of negative reviews of that and F+F, I’m inclined to skip them. We will be there 4/3-4/6, so I’m anticipating robust crowd level.

Getting excited for our trip! Thanks in advance for any tips and advice!

FF and Fallon fell short for me

Tried them both a few times and done with them forever
Never again for me

I have read a few peeps enjoyed those rides

I’m in the minority here but our family loved the Fallon ride. Our son wanted to ride it repeatedly.

F&F I'd skip. That's my plan when I get back.

However, Fallon is fine and cute, I guess. However, to be honest, I don't think I go on it again unless I went with someone who wants to ride it, or if it was an extremely low wait time and everything has a ridiculous wait time, or I'm bored.

Also, it's a horrible pain and awkward trying to put the seat belt, which is probably a big reason why it was a turn off for me too.

The ride itself isn't horrible. It's well worked. 3D imagery is great and movement isn't too dramatic, or harsh. It's just not a extremely thrilling, highly entertaining, or unique experience.

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I guess we will see what the wait time is for those rides and go from there.

Interesting that the room is key is now your EP. My girls are 11 and 13 so I don’t normally give them each their own room key, but I guess now is the time! Thank goodness for lanyards!

Over the years, the 3 premier/ deluxe hotels had different ways to identify who had the free unlimited ep usage

Back in the 1990’s, it was show the room key for ep lines, later it was the tyvex photo of each person
Few years back, your hotel room card reflected ep validity

Easy to use a lanyard for your hotel room and tickets

If your girls lose their room key, it’s easily replaced
Been there done that with my boys more than once

those photos they used to take turned out horrible! I’m so glad they did away with that. We also have no charging privileges on our sons room card
