Ticket and magicband question

I just bought a one day ticket for EPCOT and when I printed my confirmation the bar code looks really large. Will the print out scan at the gate or do you have to bring a phone to show the email? I usually don't take anything to the park that has to be carried so I would prefer not to have to take the phone.

Also is there any way to put this ticket onto my old magicband? I really liked how the pictures would automatically go to your account just by riding a ride instead of having to carry another card.

The magicband is just an ID bracelet for disney's computers to find you in their system. If the ticket is assigned to you in MDE and you have a band, your all set and just need the band. If your worried bring the paper copy with you also. It'll scan fine, it's a handheld device they scan with and there is a cm at every tapstyle with one so it's actually really quick.

Great. I just checked MDE and my magicband is listed as active and my ticket is showing in my profile - so I guess I'm set. I will still bring the paper just in case.
