Ticker Help

Can someone help me with how to put a ticker on my posts? I am very computer ignorant, so I need LOTS of step by step. I found a ticker site and created a ticker, but when I click copy on my ticker, it doesn't paste to my post.

Ok first you copy the bb code... then go to your user cp, edit signiture and paste info in there .. preview sig then save it and thats it!

Thank you Kat for responding to my question. I can figure out most of your response, but I don't know what "bb" stands for? Could you translate for me?

When you get to the end of creating your ticker different types of codes are created that work on different types of pages. Usually there's the bb code and html code. You need to copy/cut and paste the bb code into your signature.

Thank you so much for all of your help. I had to use a different website than the one I was originally using because for some reason it wouldn't copy. Anyway, I believe that it's working now.

It looks like yours is working. I couldn't even get mine to copy so that I could paste. I had to go to another website. So... basically, I got nothin for ya.
