Ive seen many different hair styles and i was wondering what is proper ettiquette for wedding hair attire? Like is the crown suppose to be no more then a certain height? or does it need to be a certain design?
I agree with the other poster. My veil is actually suppose to be a blusher, but it was what I wanted to wear on the back of my head. It's really up to you.
There arent really any hard and fast rules about tiaras and veils. As the other posters said, do what makes you feel good. For example, I thought I wanted a blusher, but it irritated me when I tried it on, so I went without one.
Haha, that would be such a fun idea. Maybe for my vow renewal though... DH2B's family already thinks it's enough of a joke that we're having a disney wedding I can only imagine their faces when I come strolling in with a Minnie Mouse ears veil.
A blusher is the veil that a bride sometimes wears over her face while she walks down the aisle. The blusher is usually lifted by her father when he gives her away, or sometimes by the her husband before the kiss.
oh ok, you know i thought that all veils were made with the part that hangs over the face? I guess i'm not up to date with things!!! LOL...I have noticed in alot of the pictures that i've been seeing that the "blusher" is becoming less used. Does anyone know why this is??? Now I don't know why if i'm going to use one or not!!
I can only tell you why I didn't wear one. The reason, simply was because I didn't want to! I tried them on in the bridal salons to humor my mother and having the material infront of my face drove me bonkers. And since I wasn't attached to this particular traditon for reasons that are too long to explain, I just opted not to wear one. It all depends on what you want on your day! Don't worry about what other people are or are not doing. If you want to wear a blusher go for it
