TRON Lightcycle has been open over a year now so this statement is not true, and to say there isn't another major attraction in the park .... is to say there is only one major attraction in the park. If you enjoy so little why go?
There will NEVER be the perfect time to go. What about all the folks whose castle view was ruined by the crane and workers? What about the timeframe every year SM closes down? Maintenance and emergency repairs? The minute all this "betterment" stops is the beginning of the end for any theme park.
Why isn't a day in MK doable? Is it because it has more attractions than any other park? That adds to the value. Get to rope drop, use
Genie+, don't waste time with long meals, stay to closing.
And yes, it is expensive but I still stand that it is a value. 12+ hours of enjoyment vs the cost of a couple hours Broadway Show, NFL game, fancy dinner, concerts ... overall they cost more for less. Folks just need to pick where they want to spend their luxury dollars. If a theme park isn't giving them joy and they find the offering unfortunate, don't go.
100% no. Aside from all the issues with it, I would venture most guests had no interest in it other than the physical boat ride and drop. They still get that with an IP they know, complete refreshing of the entire ride and a princess getting an attraction (there are few).
TRON Lightcycle has been open over a year now, and the lower capacity only lasted a couple months. To spend $$ on something new it would have been years with permitting and land preps. SM needed addressing and they did,.
IN YOUR OPINION (and no one has ridden it yet) based on a video it is a fail. I expect it to be very popular with folks scrambling to ride. I don't even like boat rides but I'll be riding this again.
We'll ride with you!
