THV Waitlist for July slowly coming through!

I booked THV for 5 nights in December the day reservations opened. I now have a work obligation so we decided to go in July. When I first called about a month ago, I was able to get only July 6. So, I booked it, made a cash reservation for July 4 and 5 and waitlisted July 7 and 8. Within a week, I picked up July 8 so I waitlisted July 9. The following week, I picked up July 7 so I waitlisted July 5. Yesterday, I cancelled the July waitlist and booked Kidani. Today, I called just to see if July 5 was available and to my surprise it was. So, now I have July 5-8 with the 4th on cash and July 9 still waitlisted. Pretty lucky I think.

I hope you get your last night! Will you waitlist for the 4th or just planning to pay cash for it?

I haven't decided yet. I know I won't waitlist it. I'll either pay cash or stay at the Ritz Carlton for about half the price and get massages included.

Since MK sometimes gets closed for off site guests on the 4th, and traffic is horrendous, so I understand, I would opt to stay on site.
