Thursday's Terrific Riddle

Good Morning everyone...this is my first time posting a riddle on here. Please be patient with me as I figure out what Im doing and keeping up with everyone.

Here's the riddle


What am I?

I'm as small as an ant, as big as a whale. I'll approach like a breeeze, but can come like a gale. By some I get hit, but all have shown fear. I'll dance to the music, though I can't hear. Of names I have many, of names I have one. I'm as slow as a snail, but from me you can't run. What am I?

thanks alan, what are the rules about angel? I didnt get a memo
I do have some of an accent, a friend of mine in California used to say I sounded like Patsy Cline, but I think I just sound like a kid even tho Im in my 30's.
Mind if I ask what great city in Alabama you are in?

When I was in high school I knew a girl who was from Mobile, she came to Houston to have her baby

lol! I don't know what that has to do with anything, but there it is lol!!!
