is Scoops last "Official" pin talk. I wish I could be there but I could not make it happen. Is anyone going to be there?

Man, that just stinks. That man totally made my day when we were there. I'm so glad we got the pin talk on tape. I was his teaching assistant. He gave me a really awesome pin for my assistance too. I was totally blown away.

I wish there was a way to save his job. I truly appreciated the information that he gave us during the talk.

I sure wish I could be there to thank Scoop for all he has done for pin trading and creating a new way for me not only to look at Cast Members that I trade with, but to realize there is a person behind every costume.

And to also thank him for creating a wonderful circle of friends that has resulted in my love for pin trading. It was nice to be able to know that if you stopped by on a Sunday there would be a good chance that you would run into some of the wonderful people that you have talked to on the boards - being able to put faces with the names.

I will miss this talk by a couple of days, but I will be there in Spirit.

Good Luck with what is ahead for you Scoop. Your talks will surely be missed my many.

I am so sad that I will not be able to be there. I so wanted to be there. It drives me nuts too as I ony live in Daytona, an hour and a half away. But with Fred's new work schedule, it makes it impossible. He said for me to go without him, but we have so little time together and it is New Years Day.

But Scoop, I hope you know how very much Fred and I have enjoyed our time at your seminars. Thank you for making this past birthday so special, and I'll NEVER forget this years St. Patty's day as that is the day you awarded me my Scoop pin.

I am so glad that we will still see you and Licorice and Butterscotch on Main Street. We have always seemed to run into you when we were there. I remember you making our last two wedding Anniversary's very special.

So thank you so much for all the wonderful MAGIC Scoop!! And we'll see you in the Kingdon soon hopefully!!

Went to Scoops seminar this past Thursday and had a great time! Hope to be there this Thursday for the last one, depending on the crowds in the park (it is unreal here right now!) Nat, had a cup of cheddar soup in your honor for xmas eve. yum.

Now if I'm reading this correctly Scoop will no longer hold his One 'O clock pin talks after the first of Janurary, but that does not mean Scoop will stop being Scoop after all Mr. Eisneers still needs him to cover his beat on the Streets of Main Street USA.

That is correct Larry, Scoop is only ending the seminars. But he will still be working for the Main Street Gazzete. So hopefully many will continue to bump into him.

If your not sure, you can go to City Hall to find out when he is out and working on a story.

I am disappointed to see Scoop's Pin Talks go. I have really enjoyed them as have the interpreters who have interpreted for me. He always includes them and treats them like the special people they are. Now who is going to teach people how to act as Pin Traders? Sad to see such a fantastic and magical experience go by the wayside. They're taking magic away from the MK instead of adding more with this move.

Just to clarify:

This is a decision that Scoop made on his own from what I understand. He was not made to quit the seminars by management and the like.

For those of you who may not know, Scoop is not only busy being Scoop, but he has other alias's that take a great deal of his time.
He is pulled in a great many directions. And let's not forget that one of those alias's is a husband and a father! So he has his hands full!!

I speak from experience and first hand knowledge as Scoop was to play a big part in Fred's Vet of the Day ceremony on November 20th. And wouldn't you know it, one of his alias's pulled him in another direction. It happens, and sometimes cannot be helped.

So I'm sure all of this "pulling" has played a big part in this decision Scoop has made. And I'm even more sure, that he did not make it quickly or easily.

One good thing is that he will still be around spreading the Magic as only Scoop can do!!
